Flagstack is gradually being transformed into an open source project. Until the project is publicly available and openly licensed, we are optimizing the source code and switch APIs to open alternatives.

You can get involved by becoming a volunteer in one of the flag teams and/or registering as an OESA member to have a strategic say in how the project progresses. You can also support the continued existence of the game by purchasing something in the game or giving us feedback to improve the game.

Some of you have signed up as volunteers and formed teams. The flag teams Admins, Organizers and Communicators are getting together to improve Flagstack and plan actions – from the community for the community. The first meetings of the flag teams Admins and Organizer have already taken place and at the end of next week we will meet in the team Communicator. Feel free to reply to this message if you would also like to get involved.

If you have an Android device and can no longer see the map in the app, please try the following workaround that should fix the problem. The issue was caused by an error with Google’s map interface that impacted apps using it.

A streak is a challenge that is linked to (daily) tasks.
For example, capture a flag X days in a row, deploy a flag X days in a row or cap&deploy both together for X days.
A capture streak (collecting a flag daily) is relatively simple and can also be achieved by capturing Friend Flags and Eternal Flags.
A Deploy-Streak (deploying a flag daily) is much more challenging, because you must not interrupt the streak with a re-deploy or un-deploy. The Premium Membership is helpful here, because as a Premium player you can also lay out flags worldwide via the website. Deploying a Friend flag also counts for the deploy stream if it is collected by other players on the deploy day.
A capture and deploy streak are then combined together.
